Maria Yunak
(1892 -1977)
Ukrainian artist, graphic artist, poster artist, representative of the Ukrainian school of monumental painting. She considered fresco painting to be her life’s work, but she was practically deprived of the opportunity to do it. Some of her works were destroyed during the struggle against “boychukism”, another part was destroyed during the Second World War.
