Stefania Shabatura
Worked as an artist in the textile industry. She designed and maked tapestry and her works participated in numerous exhibitions. She was sentenced in 1972 for anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda to 5 years of strict regime and 3 years of exile. After this term, she returned to her homeland, and in 1994, when Ukraine became independent, the artist was rehabilitated. She got the opportunity to create in a new workshop and was awarded the order for courage.
