Tetiana Yablonska

painter · 1917–2005

Tetiana is the author of incredibly warm, impressionistic works. She was a teacher of drawing, painting and composition at the Kyiv Art Institute, and in her paintings she mainly depicted everyday life, movement, work and sport.

In the 1960s she created a series of works closely related to folk art, which clearly stand out in her output. The daughter of an artist, she also raised three daughters who became artists. Her works took part in the Venice Biennale, and her solo exhibitions were held in London and Paris.
