Anna Sharay

Ukrainian ceramic artist. The creation of ceramics — traditional in form, modern in content — became a hallmark of her work, almost all of it based on folk ornament. Its creatively interpreted variations appear both in tableware and in decorative panels.

She also created decorative elements for architecture, including the design of the Kyiv metro stations “Obolon,” “Chernigivska” and “Nyvky,” and contributed to the interiors of the Metro restaurant, the Rus hotel, and the House of Cinema in Kyiv.
