Her creative laboratory was amazingly simple: paper and scissors — cutting and cutting out, and sometimes simply tearing the paper by hand. This ancient carving technique became the basis of her craft, and she called her landscapes “illustrated thoughts.”

The source of her imaginative world was Slavic mythology in the broad sense — the customs, ceremonies and beliefs of the Ukrainian community, and the traditions of national folk art.
