Lyubov Panchenko
(1938-2022)
Lyubov created works closely related to Ukrainian folk art. She created clothing sketches, decorative painting, fabric appliqués, graphic paintings. During Soviet times, her art was not exhibited or printed. But the schemes of embroidery she developed were included in the main women’s magazine of the then Ukraine, “Soviet Woman”, and her works were copied by craftswomen from all over the Soviet Union.
